Cross-Domain Information Sharing

Classified information (e.g., Secret or Top-Secret) is used within tightly controlled “domains” to prevent security leaks. However, modern military, intelligence, and law enforcement operations critically depend on timely sharing of information across domains – e.g., between US Secret Service and local police departments. Cross-domain solutions enable people to share information in a controlled way so as to maximize useful sharing, protect classified information, and maintain accountability.
